In February 2016, sisters, Lia & Tara decided to embark their dream of opening their own school, something they always wanted to do and a big encouragement from their family, especially their Dad.
Lia & Tara have always worked in schools around Essex teaching Singing, Drama & Musical Theatre but having their own school was always something they wanted to achieve.
Sadly, Tara & Lia lost their Dad to Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2015 and knowing how much he wanted them to fulfil their dreams, Ta’Lia School of Performing Arts was born. The school has been set up in memory of their beloved Dad, who was a performer himself.
Coming from a strong musical background Tara & Lia add a lot of value to all classes, but also have teachers who teach the core subjects and together they are all a great team.
Ta’Lia is a fun, friendly school giving students an environment to go to after school that they can, not just learn, but enjoy themselves too.
Offering classes within Dance, Singing, Drama, Acro & Musical Theatre, working towards exams and their annual show.
Our main objectives are not only to teach students techniques that will help them further in their performing arts journey, but also build confidence within all classes, as confidence is key to anything we do in life.
